For music to remain and continue to be made, we must take it in our hands in order to ensure its survival. Without musicians, music will not be heard. Without a person behind the instrument, the instrument will remain silent. A keyboard, drum machine, or sampler is just a paperweight without a living being controlling it. This graphic was created to depict this idea. Even though there may be many musical devices available as seen on the front of the shirt, they will remain to be devices. We are the music makers and it’s our job to take those devices and create music. The quote on the rear of the shirt points this out perfectly.

Acrylick is a clothing company based in the Los Angeles area, making fashion with a positive message and putting meanings behind every shirt/work/design. Acrylick believe that things should be universal and don't believe in conformity of any sort. Each individual embodies their own original spirit and should share it with others. They are trying to accomplish a universal clothing line. Acrylick want their clothing to be worn by everyone no matter what race, creed, gender, or status they are.

Acrylick is a metaphor for the journey of life and the pursuit of finding ones soul and own individuality in this world. The masses may first perceive the word acrylic as being only related to paint, but when analysed to a deeper symbolic level it is much more. Acrylics are used to paint and can be easily seen as an element we use to express our feelings, emotions, individuality, and soul onto paper, canvas, wood etc... It is a material that we use to put what we have in our minds and hearts out to the world visually. Acrylick intends their clothing to have the same purpose.
