Patience is an important virtue, and creativity requires much patience. There are some people that think creativity is a natural gift that allows some to create effortlessly. This is not completely true. The most essential form of creativity may be planted in the soil of our being, but for it to grow and lead us to create, we must be patient and harvest it. Life experience serves as an important element and fertilizer in this harvesting. We need to feed ourselves with life experience in order to spark inspiration for our creativity. Our design was based around this concept. We felt that the classic quote, "great things come from those who wait", flipped our way; can also be referenced to those who create. These two thoughts go hand in hand. Great things come to those who create, since creating requires such great patience.

Acrylick is a clothing company based in the Los Angeles area, making fashion with a positive message and putting meanings behind every shirt/work/design. Acrylick believe that things should be universal and don't believe in conformity of any sort. Each individual embodies their own original spirit and should share it with others. They are trying to accomplish a universal clothing line. Acrylick want their clothing to be worn by everyone no matter what race, creed, gender, or status they are.

Acrylick is a metaphor for the journey of life and the 29pursuit of finding ones soul and own individuality in this world. The masses may first perceive the word acrylic as being only related to paint, but when analysed to a deeper symbolic level it is much more. Acrylics are used to paint and can be easily seen as an element we use to express our feelings, emotions, individuality, and soul onto paper, canvas, wood etc... It is a material that we use to put what we have in our minds and hearts out to the world visually. Acrylick intends their clothing to have the same purpose.
